EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AT RUTGERS-CAMDEN
Many of the academic departments at Rutgers-Camden sponsor internships and practicums for credits. Students should check with their departments for the various options and connections to employers for credit bearing opportunities.
The Career Center provides internship listings on eRecruiting for over 600 internships, locally and nationally.
In addition, the Center facilitates the ARTS & SCIENCES INTERNSHIP COURSE which provides learning experiences in business, education, healthcare, public service, social services and other fields for students enrolled in the College of Arts & Science, The Honor's College and University College.
Selected internships for the past year were completed at: Delaware River Port Authority, Cooper Hospital, Camden County Prosecutor's Office, Lincoln Financial Advisors, Asian Christian Ministries, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, South Jersey Sports On-line, Marvel Entertainment, Theracare Inc., Kennedy Memorial Hospital, The Rachael Ray Show

ON GRADUATE / PROFESSIONAL STUDY
The staff of the Career Center serve as the campus wide advisors for students and alumni pursuing graduate / professional study. Resources are available to assist students at the Career Center, including the latest editions of Peterson's Guide to Graduate Study, a Free Graduate School Guide for schools east of the Mississippi, information on Scholarships/Assistantships/Fellowships and more.
James Marino, Director of the Center is also the Premed Advisor. Students who are interested in medical, dental, veterinary science, podiatry, optometry and related health fields should register with the Premed Advisor at the Career Center, Lower Level of the Campus Center.
