Pre-Veterinary Services

If you are a Rutgers-Camden student or alumnus with an interest in veterinary science, please register as a pre-veterinary student with the Pre-Health Professions listserve. 
Complete the Health Professions Registration form online at PRE-HEALTH PROFESSIONS REGISTRATION

The Career Center provides advising and application support to students interested in applying to veterinary school.  

Pre-veterinary students should also work closely with their academic advisor to ensure they are taking the prerequisite courses required to apply to veterinary school.

Standardized Test Information

Most vet schools require the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Some MAY also require or accept the MCAT. It is highly recommended that you take the test in the spring of your junior year.
